Pecos Skate Park
The Pecos Park Skate Park has a combination of advanced and beginner features including a street plaza, flatbars, grinding ledges and blocks, pump bumps, sloped ramps, and bowls that offers something for skaters of all skill levels.
It's open to in-line skates and skateboards.
Aquatic, dog, senior, community and skate are separately rated. This is for mostly sports, picnicking, playground, splash pad and walking path. It is truly big and on both side of 48th St. It is very well planned and executed possibly from extensive planning. It unusual to see as many water fountains just as one complimentary example. If we want something additional we can move in that direction possibly through responsible behavior plus some volunteering? Even a jem is not perfect.
I love this park! It has two separate dog parks (one for small dogs, one for large dogs) a public swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, soccer/ football field, picnic tables, grills, a large jungle gym, a recreation center, and a skate park! Plus it has tons of stops for Pokémon Go!
Great park for sporting events- football, soccer, baseball, and other sporting activities that require a large open space. The grass is decent, and the surrounding area seems well kept. Not a bunch of trash, and as far as I can tell, no graffiti. Some large shade trees on the perimeter would be a nice addition. That would be the only improvement I would suggest...
Fire Breathing Moon Beam
I love the dog park here. Even if you don't want your dog to go in the dog park it's a large park to walk your dog. There are several futball/soccar fields. There is a basket ball court, a skatepark, a playground, and a beach volleyball court.
Surprisingly large park with a hidden dog park. The small dog section is pretty empty.
