Nice park with tantalizing 360-degree views! There is a large fenced area for large dogs and a smaller fenced area for small dogs. The dog parks offer minimal shade during the day but are great early in the morning or at night. Be aware that bunnies, owls, and coyotes all inhabit the area after dark. Inside the fenced area is generally safe (unless there is a peckish owl and you have a small dog), but it is a gamble if you let them go off-leash outside of the fence and onto the tempting sports fields..
Not enough signs to know whichc field is which, parking is crazy on soccer Saturdays & someone needs to tell them to water the fields! It was more dirt than dry grass. Also only 1 road in & out of the park. And very close to Transmission lines. On a positive note the basketball fields are new & the Community Center is very nice.
Nice park! Community pool, kid play area and skate park are all well kept. I don’t know why the city of Phoenix can’t keep the grass greener as they are using grey water for irrigation. They will tell you it is because the grass is dormant in the winter, but the best time of the year and the ground is hard and grass is brownish yellow like hey. Other than that, the park is very nice.
Tons of fields for sports. Dog park is nice. During the busy times the parking lot is insuffienct, and needs to be expanded to double the size. Within a short walking distance of Phoenix premium outlets. So you can shop while the kid is at practice.
Freaking lit u can always go there and find stuff to do even in the summer since they have the pool and rec center
