Yamaguchi Skate Park

684 South 5th Street

The skatepark provides a great opportunity for kids to become acquainted with skateboarding or for more seasoned riders to test out tricks and maybe show off a bit!

Completed in the fall of 2011, the park is the result of the tireless efforts of Pagosa's Skaters Coalition for Concrete and generous donations of many, many others. The Town of Pagosa Springs donated land in Yamaguchi Park and provided a portion of funding. The park comprises 3,400 square feet with a bowl feature.

This little park in Pagosa Springs had the most amazing skate park. My 11 year old son and I enjoyed the setup greatly. It even has a very nice full pool. It was alot of fun. Its nice to see community's support instead of turn shoulder and dislike the skateboarding group. 5 stars for sure to the park and city of Pagosa!!

Small park by the river offers skating, playground built for both toddlers and older kids, small soccer feilds. Restrooms always kept clean. Yamaguchi park is great for family to enjoy outside because it has a small something for all ages. The views are beautiful so I think the entire family can enjoy the amenities. Great for a small park!

This park is beautiful and has a great playground. It shows gorgeous Pagosa mountain views as your kiddos play. As a visitor, it showed that there was more to Pagosa Springs than the main strip!
